Regulated Industries and Utilities Committee (Georgia Senate)
The Senate Regulated Industries and Utilities Committee is a 14 member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, three ex-officios, and eight members. The Committee operates under a Senate mandate to regulate gas, telecommunications, electric, and other related industry throughout the state.[1]
Scope and jurisdiction
The Senate Regulated Industries and Utilities Committee is responsible for creating legislation for the regulation of gas, telecommunications, electric, and other related industries throughout the state.[1]
