Sherbrooke Manor is a residential subdivision of detached single family homes built during the 1950s and 1960s. Median age is ca. 1960. Median lot size is less than 1/5 of an acre. Median interior living space is approximately 1,500 sq. ft. Typical homes have 3 to 4 bedrooms and 1 to 2 baths. About 80 percent of the homes have full basements; about 25 percent have garages. Access to the Sherbrooke Manor neighborhood is from Parkside Avenue onto Spruce Street or Sherbrooke Road.

After World War II Ewing Township grew rapidly, reflected by the construction of a variety of housing, including Parkway Village, Moss Homes, Wynnwood Manor and Fleetwood Village. Later subdivisions include Hampton Hill, Hillwood Manor, Sherbrooke, Hickory Hills and Village on the Green. By 1960, the population of the Township had grown to 26,828.
