Side by Side (1975 film)
Side by Side is a 1975 pop comedy directed by Bruce Beresford. It tells the story of two rival nightclub owners played by Terry-Thomas and Barry Humphries, and the cast also includes Stephanie de Sykes, Billy Boyle, Frank Thornton, Eric Idle and many contemporary pop artists such as The Rubettes, Mud and Kenny.[1] A soundtrack album was released.[2]
The soundtrack album was re-released as Original Rocking Hits from the film Side By Side on the Pickwick Records label in 1977 with a different track order.[3] The artist "Twogether" that performs the "Side By Side (Lynsey de Paul song)" film theme may actually be Lynsey De Paul and Barry Blue, the songs composers.[4]
