Thai-Taiwanese International School (T.C.I.S.; Mandarin Traditional: 泰國中華國際學校, Simplified: 泰国中华国际学校, Pinyin: Tàiguó Zhōnghuá Guójì Xuéxiào; Thai:โรงเรียนนานาชาติ ไทย-จีน) is a private, non-profit day school in Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region of Thailand.[1] It was founded in 1995 for the purpose of providing English language education as well as Traditional Chinese language for the Taiwanese communities in Bangkok, Thai, and other communities. The school currently has circa 100 staff and teachers and 720 students. TCIS is located within a 15-minute drive from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport of Thailand.
History
The Taiwanese Ministry of Education previously oversaw the school and designated it as an overseas Taiwanese school. It removed TCIS from the list on February 1, 2006 since TCIS was unable to conform to the Taiwanese standards.[2]
Students
The students are multi-lingual.
Thai-Chinese International School offers a PreK-12 curriculum that draws from the American standards for the core curriculum. All courses are conducted in English and students are required to take mandatory Mandarin and Thai language courses.

Curriculum Overview
The school offers a college preparatory curriculum including Advanced Placement(AP) courses in varies subjects and has music, arts, sports departments that offer diverse courses for all students enrolled. Intensive Mandarin language courses with an emphasis in Chinese history and culture are taught daily. English is the medium of instruction in all courses other than Thai and Mandarin.
