Vinogel

Vinogel was a dehydrated wine product, reduced to 1/3 of its volume and gelled to maintain alcohol titration.[1]

It was utilised by the French Far East Expeditionary Corps, most notably at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu. It was used as late as a decade later in Africa.
