Xou da Xuxa Sete is the eleventh album of the Brazilian singer, TV host and actress Xuxa Meneghel. It was released in October 1992, being the last of the Xou da Xuxa series, had 1,000,000 copies sold.
Production
Xou da Xuxa Sete was produced by Michael Sullivan and Paulo Massadas, with artistic coordination Marlene Mattos and Xuxa. It was recorded in the studios of Som Livre, and had artistic direction of Max Pierre.[1]
Release
The release of the album took place in mid 1992, his first version was in LP. The CD edition and cassette tape were launched in the following weeks. The television program Xou da Xuxa ended later this year on Rede Globo, and the production was getting ready for a big change in the career of the presenter. The year 1992 was decisive in Xuxa's career, since she had already recorded programs outside Brazil and its international albums had sold well abroad.[2]
The album was reissued in 2013 by Som Livre in partnership with Xuxa Produções. The disc is part of the Collection box Xou da Xuxa.[3]
