Basingstoke by-election, 1906
The Basingstoke by-election of 1906 was held on 12 March 1906. The by-election was held due to the death of the incumbent Conservative MP, Arthur Frederick Jeffreys. It was won by the Conservative candidate Arthur Clavell Salter KC.[1]
