Fara Gera d'Adda is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,396 and an area of 10.6 square kilometres (4.1 sq mi).[1]
