Frank, California

Frank is a former settlement in Humboldt County, California.^[1] It was located 6 east-northeast of Shelter Cove.^[1] near the intersection of Shelter Cove Road and Chemise Mountain Road, about 1/10 of a mile south on Chemise Mountain Road on the east side of the road.

A post office operated at Frank from 1892 to 1903 and was located inside the McKee home.^[1] The name honored Frank H. McKee, Sr., its first postmaster.^[1] Frank McKee and his wife Arabelle "Belle" also ran a school from their home.
