Roccalumera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 180 kilometres (110 mi) east of Palermo and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,145 and an area of 8.8 square kilometres (3.4 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Roccalumera contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Allume and Sciglio.
Roccalumera borders the following municipalities: Fiumedinisi, Furci Siculo, Mandanici, Nizza di Sicilia, Pagliara.
