Located at 33 East Congress in Chicago Columbia College Chicago owns the station's FCC license and facilities. The station is run by Columbia College Chicago students and is operated by the school's radio department. WCRX was bought from the University of Illinois at Chicago in the 1980s. WCRX provides music, news, sports, and community affairs programming.
