Torrenova (Sicilian: Turrinova) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) east of Palermo and about 80 kilometres (50 mi) west of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,635 and an area of 13.0 square kilometres (5.0 sq mi).[1]
Torrenova borders the following municipalities: Capo d'Orlando, Capri Leone, Militello Rosmarino, San Marco d'Alunzio, Sant'Agata di Militello.
